John Baldessari
John Anthony Baldessari is an American conceptual artist known for his work featuring found photography and appropriated images. He lives and works in Santa Monica and Venice, California. He was born on 17th June 1931. Baldessari first began to move away from gestural painting when he started to work with materials from billboard posters. It prompted him to analyze how these very popular, public means of communication functioned, and it could be argued that his work ever since has done. John Baldessari is famous for being a artist and a photographer.
Wrong: In 1967 John Baldessari exhibited his ‘wrong’ series. He uses a selection of photographic images anchored by text. The most famous of which titled ‘wrong’ shows an image with poor composition juxtaposed by the text ‘wrong’ bellow the photograph.

The use of dots makes the viewer of the photo think what are they doing and where they are. The use of this technique is making the viewer think of the photo. John Baldessari created this technique but just playing around with dots and he saw that it made and interesting effect and it does confuse the minds of the viewer because they are wondering what is going on in this picture,
Forced Perspective
Forced perspective is a technique which shows optical illusion to make an object appear further away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is. It manipulates human visual perception through the use of scaled objects and the correlation between them and the vantage point of the spectator or camera. This is a perfect example of forced perspective because they are in line with his hand and he is acting as if he is blowing them away. This technique was used by john baldessari. He used this technique. This technique is very useful if you want to make a picture look weird but cool at the same time. In this picture the man is a giant towards the people that are being blown away.
